The world has become fast. Too fast for many people! UNDER ONE SKY has created sounds that give everyone the opportunity to switch off. UNDER ONE SKY brings people to rest. UNDER ONE SKY makes the soul ring.<\/p>\n
UNDER ONE SKY has studied musicology and medicine with the theme “Peace of Mind” without losing sight of the beautiful musical. For millennia, people have been fascinated by music. It has been scientifically proven that music can make you healthy. Music has a positive influence on our soul life and the immune system. There are rhythms, tones and sounds that calm the breath, pulse rate and brain activity. We have implemented this knowledge musically.<\/p>\n
The special feature of “Peace of Mind” is that this is not a form of sound therapy operated according to a proven pattern. It is rather artful, cinematic “listening music” with a strong meditative and soothing character.<\/p>\n
The result was a meditative concept album that plays with influences from folk, ambient, dub reggae and classical music. An album that gradually descends into very deep spherical moods to gently wake up at the end. Peace of Mind calms the senses. We believe in the healing power of music, especially the power of music as such.<\/p>\n
We rely on personal experiences. Erik Millgram – initiator of this project was previously active as a musician and actor. He then turned his back on the stage to act behind the scenes after his law studies as a lawyer for media law. Without realizing it, over the years his working day has become longer and the burden greater. Until the time when he was running out of air. The medical diagnosis was threatening. The future uncertain.<\/p>\n
That was the point at which he questioned his entire professional life and came to the conclusion that he did not want to continue this life.<\/p>\n
In the period after the operation he found his way back to his music. However, many experiences richer.<\/p>\n
In mid-2014, he developed sounds that helped him to become physically healthy. During this time, the idea for “Peace of Mind” was born<\/p>\n

Volker and Peter quickly found two other old musical companions who also immediately believed in the project.The result of the wonderful and intensive cooperation can now be heard after nearly three years of “work” on “Peace of Mind”.An album that invites you to relax, to dream.<\/p>\n
How would you like to hear the music of UNDER ONE SKY?<\/strong> Give yourself time. Time! Time for you![\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInUp”]<\/p>\n About three years ago, when Erik Millgramm and me were talking about his music project, \u201emaking the soul ring\u201c, we had common vision. I was wondering if it would be possible, by the music of \u201eUNDER ONE SKY\u201c, to reach disabled people, premature babies or vigil coma patients on a basal level. Would it be possible, by using the basic sounds of the inner body, to evoke deep feelings of safety and contentment ? These questions came to me, as a somatic movement educator, working with disabled people. It seemed a big challange to me. I\u2019ve had many conversations with Erik Millgramm about these questions, and the results, later on, became music.<\/em><\/p>\n Based on basal stimulation in the therapeutical treatment of patients with multiple handicaps, they integrated sounds of the heartbeat, the inner body, singing bowls and sound boxes in the music, that trigger feelings of concealment like the ones of the baby in the mother\u2019s womb. The music blanks out stimuli from the outside world and opens the chance to find the center of your inner self. And so it opens a door between the patient\u2019s world and the outside world. What is more, this music is not only for the use in therapy with disabled people, it works perfectly for relaxation and meditation for all. I don\u2019t know any music that could be compared to this. \nFind yourself a place of silence and ideally a place where you can lie down comfortably to enjoy a good hour just for you. The music will produce pictures for you. That’s the way it was for all testers from UNDER ONE SKY. Everyone told UNDER ONE SKY a different story after listening to the CD. But all stories had a positive orientation.Especially at a time when many people feel exhausted and burnt out, regular time off is of great importance.<\/p>\nTraumreise<\/h2>\n
